A proven starting point, configured around how you actually work

Building case management from a blank canvas takes months before anyone sees a working system. Buying an off-the-shelf product means adapting your processes to fit someone else's design. Our Power Platform case management accelerator sits between the two: a working, pre-built foundation covering the core functions every case-management system needs, configured and extended around your specific processes, terminology and governance rather than imposed as a rigid template.

It is built entirely on Microsoft technology already inside your organisation's tenancy: Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Dataverse and Power BI. There is no separate platform to license, host or secure.

What the accelerator covers

Case, contact and organisation records Structured, related records for cases, the organisations and people connected to them, and the issues, findings and outcomes tracked against each case. Built-in search, filtering and relationship views, so related records surface together instead of living in separate systems.

Document management SharePoint-backed document storage with version control, metadata and permissions built in from the start. Configurable templates support automated document generation directly from case data, removing manual drafting for routine outputs.

Review and approval workflow Multi-stage review and approval processes, with comments, responses and actions tracked at every stage. Every step is captured in a complete, exportable audit history, so you can demonstrate exactly who did what and when, without building that capability separately.

Task and notification automation Automated task assignment, reminders and escalations, configured around your business rules rather than a fixed workflow engine. Simple cases and complex, multi-stage cases can follow different paths through the same underlying system.

Reporting and management information Power BI-based operational dashboards and management reporting, built on a governed data model so the same figures mean the same thing whoever is looking at them. KPI definitions, ownership and reconciliation are agreed as part of configuration, not left for someone to work out later.

Administration and governance User and permission management, reference data maintenance, and configuration management, so your team can own and adapt the system after go-live rather than depending on a supplier for every change.

Built for organisations that cannot afford to get this wrong

The accelerator draws on delivery experience across regulated and public sector environments, including statutory case-handling, structured document review, and business-critical service transitions delivered without loss of continuity. That experience shapes the accelerator's defaults: role-based access designed for organisations with clear separation of duties, an audit model built to hold up under external scrutiny, and a migration approach designed specifically for moving active, open cases rather than only closed archives.

Delivery follows UK and EEA data residency requirements throughout, and is backed by ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 20000-1 and ISO 22301 management systems alongside Cyber Essentials Plus.

How engagement works

Discovery and validation. We start by validating your case types, roles, statuses and document requirements against the accelerator's data model, using representative end-to-end scenarios rather than a generic demo. This is where the accelerator gets shaped to fit you, not the other way round.

Configuration and extension. The accelerator's case, workflow, document and reporting components are configured to your specific processes, terminology and acceptance criteria. Where genuinely custom functionality is needed, it is built as an extension on the same platform, not bolted on separately.

Migration. For organisations replacing an existing system, we plan migration around your live, open caseload specifically, including a rehearsed approach to active cases and a defined parallel-running period where continuity matters.

Training and handover. User and administrator training, full configuration documentation and knowledge transfer are built into every engagement, so your team can maintain and extend the system independently once it is live.

Ongoing support. Post-launch optimisation and a prioritised improvement backlog keep the system evolving with your operational needs, rather than freezing at the point of go-live.

If your organisation is assessing whether to replace an ageing or externally hosted case-management system, we would welcome a conversation about whether this accelerator is the right starting point. Contact us to arrange a discovery discussion.
